MasterCard Developer Zone
Filmstik took a brief that could’ve drowned in corporate jargon (encourage developers to integrate MasterCard’s payment APIs) and turned it into a comedy showcase. The campaign planted Adam Paul, fresh off his run as CBS’s “Naked Man” on How I Met Your Mother, inside a wood-paneled library as a suave, unflappable host. Across the spots, Paul played every character in the room: skeptics, superfans, oddballs, each one pulling back a curtain on MasterCard’s identity as a genuine tech powerhouse, not just a card in your wallet. Sharp visual effects let one actor populate an entire cast without ever breaking the joke. The result landed with an audience of engineers who’d normally scroll past a fintech ad, proving Filmstik’s knack for smuggling a serious message inside a genuinely funny piece of content.
